Sham Choudhary chairs Rogi Kalyan Samiti meet | KNO

Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Sham Lal Choudhary chaired the meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) of NTPHC Chakrohi and Dablehar, PHC Sai, Satriayan & Badyal Brahmana at Chakrohi to review the functioning of these institutions.

Robinder Khajuria CMO Jammu, Darshan Chand Kundal BMO R.S.Pura, BDO, Tehsildar Suchtegarh, Medical officers of PHC and other members of committee were present in the meeting.

The Minister was apprised regarding the physical and financial achievements of the institution by the concerned Medical officers. They also projected the requirements of emergency medicines, surgical equipments, installation of water cooler, lab reagents & articles and various other issues.

The Minister took a detailed review of the achievements of these institutions and the status of development works being executed to improve facilities. He said that it is imperative to provide health services in case of emergencies through these establishments so that referral cases to other health institutions are minimal and stressed upon the concerned to ensure proper medicare to the patients besides better sanitation and upkeep .Minister also directed for effective implementation of the various state and centrally sponsored schemes with better awareness dissemination.

Responding to the issues projected by the concerned officers the Minister assured that requisite steps will be taken to provide better medicare to the patients in these institutions.   

The Minister also provided four ambulances to the NTPHC Chakrohi, Sub Centre Baspur Banglow, PHC Sai and PHC Badyal Brahmana under Border Area Development Programme (BADP).

The Minister also inaugurated free medical camp organised by the health department at Chakrohi wherein free medical consultation and medicines were provided to the needy patients by doctors.
